Sprint Triathlon Education Strategies For Newcomers | Be Ready And Rock Your Earliest Or Upcoming Sprint Triathlon!

April 28th, 2012

Intensity, volume, frequency, and rest are matters which are related and may apply to any workout routine. Frequency may be the number of times you train inside a given time period for example, one week. When deciding how often to train, you need to consider several things before setting up your plan: What type of shape are you in now?

What age range are you currently in? What do you want to complete? And lastly, what amount of rest will you need? To allow for recovery its essential to get your rest!

Each one of these things determines how frequently you are able to train.

Between these four aspects youll need a good balance to be able to put together a successful training schedule for a sprint triathlon. You will need to move down the frequency as you move up the intensity in your workouts, as the body will require more rest to be able to properly recover. To practice more often, you can alternate between easier and harder training days, and varying your workouts through the week.

When figuring out your training schedule its also important to consider your profession. Do you have a physically demanding job? Or most days of your work week are you sitting in a desk? Either can benefit or hinder your fitness goals, but you will have to know this before going in to your training.

ResQSoft | Legacy Software Program Migration | Legacy Conversion | Software Program Conversion

April 26th, 2012

ResQSoft Builds a Better Mousetrap A Legacy Migration that REALLY WORKS We use automated tools to develop an equivalent system using modern Web technologies and native source code just as if a team of programmers had written the system. We have available tools that can reverse all of the common legacy technologies such as COBOL, CICS, PowerBuilder, Silverstream, ORACLE*Forms, DEC Forms, M204, MAPPER, MUMPS, Cold Fusion, Visual Basic, Clipper, etc.

and the tools are flexible enough to learn to address a new language in a matter of weeks. We understand that sometimes you may want to move slowly on redeveloping complex business logic. We also support an architecture that modernizes only the front end of your system (UI and reporting), and we can hook the UIs up to your existing COBOL business logic as a replacement for your legacy screen handler. However, if you do want a complete business application, a full legacy conversion, completely modernized, and running with Java and .NET Web technology and SOA, we can use ResQSoft Engineer to get you there. We do write some code by hand, but it is a dramatically smaller amount of code frequently, only 10 to 15 percent of the total.

ResQSoft Engineer provides all the rest of the source code, including a complete data management layer and control structures. After a software conversion, you get the full source code to your system, and you can decide whether to maintain it yourself as you would any other body of source code, or to useResQSoft Engineer to maintain and enhance your system. You are not locked in. We use Java, .NET, JDBC/ODBC and other open standards-based code thats it. And the applications we develop are J2EE or .NET, e-Gov and Federal Enterprise Architecture compliant Dont take our word for it We recently completed a project for a major Federal agency where the client anticipated a multi-year effort costing in excess of $10 million.

This project demonstrates the efficacy of our technology and our approach to software conversion and modernizing legacy systems. ResQSoft Will Help You With Your Software Migration and Conversion In the 70s and 80s, we did not believe that we were writing legacy systems when we developed large business applications in COBOL. Yet, thats what happened. So, how do you avoid creating another such situation? What happens in six years if, the modernization language you choose today becomes unsupported and some new language is the new platform of choice? Well, if you modernize with Engineer, you will save dramatically on making further platform changes, because your code is properly structured and completely standardized and chances are we will support the new platform and can re-generate the bulk of your code to fit.

Three Button Gown Shirt Collar

April 20th, 2012

Two buttons already looks bold and does make a statement, but recently I stumbled upon this Japanese tailor who makes three button collars (you can also design your own 3 button collared custom dress shirts at ShirtsMyWay.com).

I know I know, its not like it is completely out of this world, but the way they had done this makes it look really good. Great way to make an extra statement. Read what collars would suit you in our free FREE Mens Button Down Dress Shirt Guide.

The picture clearly shows that the inside collar contrast fabric is too bold, but it is the bold 3 button collar that should be emphasized. Dont forget that this is NOT a shirt collar for men with short necks (they will look even shorter with this shirt collar). Comments 7 Responses to The 3 Button Dress Shirt Collar Tobias Desomer on May 30th, 2008 5:58 pm Hi, A lot of our customers go for the 3-button collar, mostly guys who want to have an impressive collar and dont like (or want to wear) a tie.

Regards, Tobias Jeff Collins, Professional Haberdasher on June 24th, 2008 7:45 pm It looks a little funny in the picture with the top button out of alignment.

The houndstooth on the inside of the collar looks nice. I have one shirt with a two button collar and it is a pretty cool look for a casual shirt. Three seems a bit over the top, sort of like the razor with 5 blades for a shave so close you have to regrow your epidermis.

I think what is really throwing me off in this picture is the fact that they are making a casual shirt out of a textured white broadcloth shirt. It seems a bit out of place. I would have to reserve final judgment for a shirt with color and perhaps a check pattern to get the full effect. My Best, Jeff Collins Professional Haberdasher http://www.MyHaberdasher.com Fabio Defaria on June 30th, 2008 3:21 am I like that shirts white.

Pharmacy Technician Educational Facilities Critical Reviews For Pharmacy Tech Certification

April 11th, 2012

As a pharmacy tech, your primary role is to provide assistance to a licensed pharmacist in order to ensure that the pharmacy is running smoothly and efficiently.

You can expect to be involved in tasks such as preparing prescription medications, attending to customer needs, and providing assistance in administrative duties in the pharmacy. One of the best ways of becoming successful as a pharmacy technologist is by undergoing a formal training program and receiving pharmacy tech certification. A typical day for a pharmacy tech involves receiving prescription requests, labelling of medicine bottles, counting and weighing tablets, and mixing medications.

Upon filling of a prescription, it will then be priced and filed, and then a licensed pharmacist proceeds to check if everything is complete and in order before the prescription drug is given to a patient. Besides working with prescription drugs, a pharmacy technician may also be involved with administrative tasks such as maintaining patient profiles, answering phone calls, performing inventory of medications, processing of insurance claim forms, and handling of cash register transactions. Pharmacy techs work under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists. Work environment is also something to look forward to in this career because the workplace is usually somewhere that is clean, wellventilated, organized, and well-lighted.

Work schedules will vary depending on the place of employment, but it is not uncommon to be required to work on nightshifts, weekends, and holidays as well, especially in pharmacies that have 24-hour operating hours.

Even though there are no formal training requirements for pharmacy technicians, enrolling in a formal training program offered by pharmacy technician schools is recommended since it can provide an individual with a broad range of employment opportunities and a higher earning potential. Formal training programs accredited by pharmacy technician schools are offered in vocational schools, community colleges, and in select hospitals as well. These can be completed in as short as 6 months and as long as 2 years and usually consist of theoretical studies and laboratory work that tackles pharmacy law, pharmacy ethics, pharmaceutical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and pharmacy record keeping.

A career as a pharmacy technician also presents an individual with an excellent job outlook since employment is forecasted to increase by 31 percent through the year 2018 based on the statistics provided by the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Since prescription drugs will always be in demand regardless of the economic situation, job security is generally not an issue for this career. Excellent employment opportunities await pharmacy technicians with a good educational and training background, adequate working experience, and certification. During the year 2008, the BLS reported average earnings for pharmacy techs at $13.32 per hour, while the lowest and highest 10 percent of the population had earnings of less than $9.27 per hour and more than $18.98 per hour respectively.
