Golf courses Are you a golf lover!
Then you must be aware of how a golf course looks like. Well, golf courses consist of a sequence of holes within a teeing ground, the fairway, the hazards like water hazard, the rough, the bunker and green. The green consists of a flagstick and a hole.
The flagstick is known as pin while hole is known as cup. A standard golf course has eighteen holes. If a golf ground has nine holes, the game is played two times. Teeing ground also known as, tee-box is the first portion upon getting to every hole.
The player places his golf balls over here, at different distances from the hole.
Fairway is the hitting area of the ball. It lies between tee box and green.
While one should keep in mind that a rough lays between fairways and out-of-bounds. The player should drive his ball on the green in his first shot. For longer distances, he requires an additional shot. Hazards have three types and such examples are: man-made, natural and water.
